Why do I
need to rotate my tires?
Look at the bottom of your tennis shoes. You will see that each shoe has
a wear pattern, which begin the
first time you wear these shoes. As time goes on, these wear patterns
eventually become worse and make your feet hurt to the point that you
buy new
ones and throw the old shoes away.
The same holds true for the tires on your car. Unlike Shoes, tires can
be
rotated to another location on your vehicle. Tires work differently,
depending
upon the location on the car. In each of these locations, the wear
patterns are
different. Rotating the tires on a regular basis will even the wear on
each
individual tire.
When?
Every vehicle and every vehicle owner is different in that individual
driving
conditions and individual drivers affect tire wear. At Kuni Sacramento,

recommend that you rotate your tires every time you get your oil changed
(approximately 4,000 to 7,000 miles depending upon your
driving habits).
